First Night of Snowboard/Ski Club

Thursday is the first night of Snowboard/Ski Club. Since this is the first night, there will be a short informational meeting before we depart from RMS.






Some tips for those new to Snowboard/Ski Club

• You will have time to work on homework at school before we depart. (remember... Snowboard/Ski Club is never an excuse for not completing homework)
  
• Lessons will be available.
  
• Be sure to check the weather and dress appropriately.
• Many students chose to pack their own food. (food is also available for purchase at Powder Ridge)
• Although it may be cold, it's still important to hydrate.
• Know your limitations and snowboard/ski appropriately.

Rockford Snowboard/Ski Club is back for another year! Powder Ridge will again be our destination. Check the links on the sidebar for forms. Forms and payment should be returned to High School or Middle School Office.

Snowboard/ Ski Club Checklist

The following items need to be turned in to Betsy Pennuto, Middle School office, or the High School office in order to be added to our roster.

• Deadline: Tuesday, November 25, 2008. Payment needs to be turned in at the time of registration, call with questions regarding payment, 763-477-5831 ext. 2112 or 612-710-0936 (Betsy) or 612-209-3478 (Kurt) .
  

• Registration Form – make sure a package has been chosen.

• Emergency Card - needs to have numbers and signature.

• Rules & Guidelines – make sure you have read this together and signed on the Registration form that you understand the guidelines.

New in 2008-09 for the Six-Time Program

• We will continue to bus for the one bonus night, which will be our last night out to Powder Ridge.

• The second bonus will be on your own as follows: Each participant will receive a one-time voucher good for up to 4 tickets at $5.00 each and 4 equipment rentals at $5.00 each (ski or snowboard). This voucher may be used by the group participant, his/her family members or friends (up to four people) any Monday through Friday evening beginning February 17th through the end of the season. Please note: Powder Ridge does not guarantee the length of a season and vouchers will not be extended into the next season.
